WEDNESDAY 19 MAY – 6.30PM - MAGICAL NARROWBOAT CRUISE

Enjoy a tranquil evening cruise aboard narrowboat “Charlie” from Stoke Bruerne to Blisworth and back, passing through the historic Blisworth tunnel on the way, a journey of about one and a half hours.  A wonderful way to enjoy some beautiful waterways scenery. with a glass of wine and some delicious canapés adding to the occasion. SUNDAY 20 JUNE 2010 - BARNSTAPLE & DISTRICT DOG TRAINING SOCIETY AGILITY SHOW

We have been offered the opportunity to have a stall at the show which is being held on Sunday 20 June and our good friend and supporter, Marianne Greenwood, has kindly offered to run this for us.  The venue is one of the fields at the Mullacott Equestrian Centre, opposite Mullacott Industrial Estate, Infracombe.


SUNDAY 27 JUNE – PICNIC IN THE PADDOCK – STOKE BRUERNE

After one of Alison's famous dog-friendly walks, sit back and relax for the afternoon in a pretty, canal-side picnic area, reserved just for you and your dogs. There will be a table top sale and plant stall, and some dog-sitters on hand if you want to visit the canal museum or take a boat trip. There will also be some fun dog shows being held in a local field - join in or simply take a look (details to be confirmed).  Only £5 per person but dogs go free so bring them all - there's no need to book - just turn up on the day. SUNDAY  5 SEPTEMBER – NORTHANTS GREYHOUND RESCUE GALA

Mandy Hooker’s annual show will once again be held at Towcester Race Course.  Mary Quinn and Terri accompanied by their gorgeous dogs, Sal and Meg will once again be running a stall on our behalf.

SUNDAY 26 SEPTEMBER 2010 – WHAM SHOW

This fun show raises funds for Pets as Therapy dogs and Tailends.  Once again it will be held at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex and Frank and Hazel Brown (with assistance from their dogs) will be manning a stall on our behalf, as they did last year.  As a tribute to Angela the organisers are naming one of the show classes after her, in recognition for all she did during her lifetime to save unwanted and abandoned dogs.
