osie is a black elderly greyhound who suffers from a heart defect. We were approached to take Rosie at a time when we were very full at Tailends and had no space. However Rosie was then offered a permanent foster by a lovely lady called Julie and after discussion it was agreed that Tailends would help with Rosie's living costs including her treatment and medications. This has ensured that Rosie has a lovely home in Ireland where she has always lived and the potential space at Tailends is available for another dog. Tailends does not have foster dogs as a general rule as we would not be able to finance such an enterprise, but in this case we felt that this was the best solution all round and saved Rosie the long journey over on the ferry to England. Rosie is loved by Julie and her children and has a wonderful home for the rest of her life. Her heart condition is currently stable and she is doing very well.
Sadly Rosie passed away in early 2010 but we would like to thank Julie and her family for giving Rosie such a loving home for the last years of her life.
